Note: This is a new thing I'm trying: write a monthly report of my contributions to Free Software. Let's see how long that lasts. (Three months in a row! I've never blogged so regularly! 😅)
This month I didn't contribute much to free software, because I took some time off and went on holidays.
I still found a bit of time here and there to do a few things, mostly around Mesa and Python, as time permitted. Hopefully a few of the things I started this month will come to be next month.
If you like what I did and want me to continue, feel free to tip me at Liberapay. I don't particularly need the money so don't ruin yourself over it, but it will be good to know that my work is appreciated. 🙂

Investigated how to get spacenavd working with Blender
This will require more investigation, I currently have no idea what the fix could be, especially since I don't have access to the hardware for testing.

Submitted a work-in-progress fix to the secondary frequencies issue
This still requires some careful testing and verification before we can merge it, though.

Ported the Mesa build system to Python 3
This isn't merged, or even submitted upstream yet. But it works on my machine, and I have pushed a branch with the result of this work if anyone wants to test it.
I submitted a couple of preparatory patches though.
This is part of a bigger initiative to try and remove Python 2 from the Flatpak Freedesktop SDK 1.8, or at least port as many things as possible to Python 3.
